“Surfing is Boring®” Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

 

Promoter
The promoter is Boring Oat Milk Pty Ltd (“Promoter”). This promotion is run in collaboration with Saffi Vette and Salt Gypsy.

 

Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand only, aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
Entrants must be able to travel to the Gold Coast, Australia to redeem the prize at their own cost.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Saffi Vette, Salt Gypsy, and any agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

 

Promotion Period
The promotion closes at 11:59pm NZT on 19 March 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.

 

How to Enter
To enter, participants must during the Promotion Period:
• Visit boringmilk.com/surfing-is-boring-giveaway;
• Complete the online entry form with their personal details as requested;
• Must be following @boringmilk, @saffivette, and @saltgypsy on Instagram.
• Agree to receive marketing communications from Boring Oat Milk and Salt Gypsy.

 

Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries may result in disqualification.
Entries that are incomplete, indecipherable, or submitted outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.

 

By entering this promotion, entrants consent to being added to the Boring Oat Milk and Salt Gypsy email databases for marketing purposes. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in communications.

 

Prize
One (1) winner will receive a prize for themselves and one (1) friend consisting of:
• Two (2) nights’ accommodation on the Gold Coast, Australia;
• One (1) half-day surf lesson with Saffi Vette (all levels welcome);
• Lunch with Saffi Vette;
• One (1) year’s supply of Boring® Oat Milk each
• Two (1) “Surfing is Boring®” hemp long-sleeve tees each;
• One (1) Salt Gypsy surf kit (approx. AUD $400 value), including rashguard, top and bottom, tote bag, surf wax, and cap.

 

Travel and Prize Conditions
Flights, transfers, visas, travel insurance, and all other travel-related costs are not included and are the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest.
The winner and their guest must make their own way to and from the Gold Coast.
The prize must be redeemed on dates mutually agreed between the winner and the Promoter, subject to availability.
The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
If any part of the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.

 

Judging and Winner Notification
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
All valid entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and alignment with the spirit of the prize.

If the selected winner does not respond within 72 hours, the Promoter reserves the right to select the next best entry.
The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activity related to the giveaway, including being featured on the Promoter’s and partners’ social channels, without additional compensation.

 

Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant or winner as a result of participating in the promotion or accepting the prize.
The Promoter is not responsible for any costs incurred by the winner or their guest in redeeming the prize, including travel-related expenses.
The Promoter is not responsible for any late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries due to technical issues.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights under Australian Consumer Law or applicable New Zealand consumer protection laws.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, entrants release Instagram from any responsibility.

 

Privacy
Personal information collected will be used for the purpose of administering this promotion and for marketing communications as outlined above, in accordance with the Promoter’s and Salt Gypsy’s respective privacy policies.

 

General
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion if circumstances arise outside its control.
