Boring® Questions, Interesting Answers

Say hello to our friend Sabine from Lot 2.
Tucked away in the heart of Havelock North, Lot 2 is named after, you guessed it, being on Lot 2. It's the perfect spot for laid-back mornings, offering a relaxed café vibe and serving wholesome, nutritious food with plenty of gluten-free and vegan options.
As with all small-town connections, our marketing guru already knew Sabine and generously filled us in on a few more interesting things about her. She's a talented baker, a dedicated Strava runner, and a natural horseback rider, and she is often found chuckling.
We recently sat down with Sabine, Lot 2's official barista, to ask her a few boring questions.

What's your desert island dish?
Ceviche with avo because I have full faith in myself to be able to catch a fish but no faith that I would be able to build a fire to cook it - so safe bet to have something I can eat raw also happens to be one of my favourite dishes!
What was the last thing you ate and why?
A green smoothie not by choice but because I can only consume food that comes through a straw as I knocked 4 teeth out in a mountain bike crash a few days after these photos were taken.
You have to wear one outfit for the rest of your life. Describe it.
I have a pair of roller bootleg jeans that will forever be my favourite. I'd pair them with a basic singlet, layer on a coat, and finish the look with my brown Docs.
Sum up Lot 2 in three words?
Welcoming, fresh, fun.
What's the theme song to your life?
It would have to be Lady May by Tyler Childers. Country/folk music always makes me feel like I'm going tramping or just out in nature, which is my happy place, so it always puts me in a good mood.

What does your family think your job is?
My daughter swears I “sell sauce” and my husband insists I “just move boxes around.”
